Basic Function: To carry out field work in Abu Dhabi LPF storage terminal including bulk loading / offloading product receipt and issue, pipeline operations, product supply to the filling plant, preparation of shift bulk issue in safe and efficient manner.
Work Performed:
2.1 Receives all forms and related documents for product issues and receipt from the control room operator.
2.2 Checks and informs Dispatch Staff for PDN availability and unavailability.
2.3 Takes a computer data record of the tanks as directed by the Supervisor.
2.4 Maintains a routine check of the Plant as directed by the Supervisor.
2.5 Lines up the filling system including tanks, pumps and compressors to prepare for receiving and/or distribution of LPG product.
2.6 Starts up and shuts down all machinery at the plant.
2.7 Lines up the receiving system to receive products form supply sources.
2.8 Records the weight of vehicles before and after loading.
2.9 Loads and offloads bulk LPG and ensures there is no leakage.
2.10 Logs daily events in the Log Book.
2.11 Follows safety procedures.
2.12 Performs other similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Physical Effort:
Walking, standing and climbing equipment when checking tanks, tankers and pump house.
Work Environment
Approximately half of the workday is spent outside exposed to prevailing whether conditions, dust and fumes
