The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the RFP process efficiently and effectively; ensuring quality, clarity and consistency of contractual set-up, and supervision of all procurement activities within the program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-qualify suppliers and solicit expressions of interest (EOIs) from potential suppliers
Interface with Planning and Design Departments in creating, issuing and awarding RFPs
Lead ongoing commercial negotiations and amendments
Monitor existing contracts and conduct reviews to determine contract compliance (both P&D and Contracting party)
Interface with Legal and Risk Management to manage, control and report on legal risk
Develop and implement a dispute resolution and claims management strategy
Close contracts, manage litigation (including investigations for dispute management)
Apply KPI system / indicators to measure supplier performance, set up by central Contract Management / Procurement department
Monitor contracts and conduct review visits
Work with tools, methods, standards and guidelines provided by P&D Contract Management / Procurement department
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Legal Dept. for legal support relating to RFP actions

3rd party contractors/consultants in reviewing delivery against contractual terms
