Coordinates with refinery teams to ensure that Client Energy Management
Strategy and energy performance goals are implemented. Provides process support
for energy-efficient operation of the units and identifies process efficiency
improvement potentials and plans suitable cost effective initiatives. Initiates energy
improvement studies relating to refinery processes. Acts as a key contributor for
improving refining margins by reducing energy operating cost. Develops procedures
and guidelines on energy management as applicable to refinery. Coordinates for
conducting internal energy audits within the company .Coordinates & conducts
Energy awareness programs/ trainings/ workshops. Plans and provides inputs for
Capital and Operating Budget to improve & sustain energy performance. Reviews
energy improvement proposals and associated techno-economic feasibility studies
and accordingly takes up with energy manager for further follow up &
implementation.
